Full Summary:
Before the plane crashed, before the Others, before the DARMA Initiative, a girl lived on the island. She was known to be the keeper of the island. Have the Others pissed her off? And what will she do to get them to leave the survivors alone? And what about the survivors?
The Island's Keeper:
Matisyahu was someone that shouldn't be messed with. She was the island's keeper. She had been there since the beginning of time, since the island was created. She was there when the dinosaurs were among the inhabitants of the island. They never knew she was there, but then again she had killed some of them off hen the rest of them went extinct. She was there when the DARMA Initiative decided to move to the island and see what it was like to have there own village on an uninhabited island. She was there when the Others killed the DARMA people and took over the compound. She was even there when Oceanic Flight 815 crash-landed.
Unknowingly she's drawn to Walt & asks of him something incredible. She wants him to go into the jungle with her and maybe get rid of the Others forever. Walt leaves without telling anyone. The only thing he brings is a water bottle that can be refilled at a stream. Matisyahu leads Walt farther inland then he's ever been. And without knowing it, Walt has left behind a clue. While Walt is in the jungle with the Keeper, the rest of the survivors are out looking for Walt.
But as his tracks lead farther inland then any of them have ever gone, even farther then the cockpit of the plane itself. Then all of a sudden they stumble upon Walt, sitting on a tree, petting a bear cub. When Walt looks up, he sees that everyone has followed him & that he may be in trouble. But then the Keeper shows up and is shocked to see so many people when she only left 10 minutes ago to fill up his water bottle.
When the rest of the survivors see the Keeper, Kate makes a grab for Walt, but she's faster. Within a couple seconds, the Keeper has Walt behind her, like she's trying to protect him. Walt speaks up and the Keeper relaxes a little. She still doesn't trust them. But when she sees Sayid, she looks more relaxed then ever. She's invaded a couple of his dreams on many occasions.
"Don't worry, survivors, I'll get you off this island." And with that she leaves them with Walt and disappears into the jungle.
