Author's Note – Okay… so, I've never tried writing for Greece before, so child!Greece is even more difficult... But it is Pi Day, and I always have to write something for Pi Day. Also, this is short. Very short.

Disclaimer – I don't own Hetalia. I don't rule the world either. There are some things you just can't have.

Heracles watched his mother work, flipping through documents and silently mouthing words as she thought. She seemed excited about something, although it would have been difficult for someone who did not know her as well to notice. She looked up for a moment, and noticed her son standing quietly by the door for the first time.

"Ah, Heracles! Come here for a moment," she said, smiling gently and motioning for the child to join her. When he did, she picked him up and held him in her lap, so he could see what she had been working on. Many of the documents she had been reading had sketches of shapes with circles inside them.

Mathematics. His mama had always loved mathematics, almost as much as she loved philosophy. "What is it, Mama?" He asked quietly.

"It's something that Archimedes found," She said. "Archimedes of Syracuse. He's found a way to get a close estimate of pi. It is certainly between three and one seventh, and three and ten divided by seventy one." Mama Greece leaned forward slightly, and Heracles could feel her smile. "My children are all so smart."

"Mama?"

Mama Greece laughed slightly and held her son closer. "All of my children," She said, and then added teasingly, "Especially my favorite little son!"

The child laughed as his mother started tickling his sides.

Note: …Very, very, very short…
