This poem is based off the Mad Hatter played by Johnny Depp from the new Alice in Wonderland movie. If you haven't seen the movie then I really wouldn't read this but if you want to it's alright I suppose.
DISCLAIMER: I don't own Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
_________
Now it has come
A time of great joy
Oh, Frabjous Day!
The Jabberwocky is slain
So the White Queen shall take her reign
Off to the side
There you stood
Dear little Alice
As a savior for a greater good
In your hand you now hold
A small violet bottle
Of the things you have been told
This bottle doesn't say DRINK ME
No
For deciding to taste the liquid inside
Is your choice this time
"You could stay"
I started to say
When alas you told me no
There were things you realized
Things you just had to know
My Alice, just how much did you grow?
This departing is a painful bear
And as you add
While you turn to go
That you'll return
Chess' wears a grin from ear to ear
He knows you'll be back
As do I, with a smile to crack
Alice
Take your time
There's time to spare
In years to come there is no doubt
You'll be back for tea
As Wonderland's gates
Are always open
For little Alice Kingsley
