Just a super shot story set in the Mass Effect universe

"One Capital ships and three destroyers"

"All Hands prepare to engage".

The SSV Shasta a systems alliance navy Kilimanjaro-class Dreadnought approaches with a supporting fleet of three cruisers and fives Frigates its main mass accelerator fires the first slug of the battle that fly's towards the reaper capital ship the slug slammed in to the massive ship and dose minimum damage the Frigates moved forward in wolf pack manoeuvre while the cruisers formed a defensive screen round the SSV Shasta.

"Enemy vessel's closing the gap sir"

Two of the reaper destroyer's fly out ahead of the Capital ship the lead frigate is caught in the destroyers laser range and after watching the laser begins to light up in flash of red light and strikes the ship burning though the kenetic barriers and though the armour and leaving the ship dead in space with atmosphere venting from the gaping holes.

The other Frigates attacked the offending destroyer and looked like fly's buzzing round bad food the destroyer began to swat the down like fly's as well until only two remained meanwhile the other destroyer was storming towards the cruiser and dreadnought formation the main gun went off again and blew straight on through the encroaching reaper ship and left it dead in space with bits falling away.

Just then a Laser cut the nearby cruiser the SSV Newcastle in half and then another one gutted the SSV Belfast right down the centre span.

"Report Lieutenant"

"Captain two more reaper ships Capital ships"

As this exchange was going on the last frigate the SSV Monte casino began to make a limp for the mass relay out of the system it had taken heavy damage and had almost lossed all control the destroyer they were attacking moved towards in to finished it off like a hunter stalking is prey the ships drive core however robbed the reaper of the satisfaction by exploding before it could close in to make its kill.

The remaining Human vessels now totalling two vessels a dreadnought and a cruiser were in for the fight to the death against Five reapers the odds were soon turned in the repers favour even more when the finial cruiser was grabbed by one of the squid like tentacles on one of the reaper capital ships and lifted up and tossed towards the nearby relay with Life pods jettison in every direction.

"Well crew it looks like it is just us against a reaper fleet let's make it count people let's make it count and take a few of them with us "

The drengnoughts gun killed its second reaper of the day another of the destroyers and the finial one and the capital ship that had barely suffered and scratch moved in for the kill as the other two circled they pray and charging the lasers light hungry lions if reapers were truly hungry.

The dreadnought fired one finial salvo that hit its target and stopped the reaper ship its hit a capital ship however the crew never got to celebrate and the ship was methodically cut to pieces and all aboard destroyed before the shot struck home and the destruction of one of the mightiest vessels in the alliance fleet completed the reapers recovered the pods for victims and continued to harvest the system.
