I cried for a long time. I can't believe I lost Sam! Tears stung my face and I cried bitterly for sometime. Mr. Crepsley didn't bother me, why would he care, he didn't understand, no one did. I cried in the darkness of the dark until the tent flap opened and closed and a hand touched my shoulder.
"Darren?" Evra said, "Are you ok?"
"Why would I?" I asked, "Sam's dead!" And with that I bursted into tears again and suprisingly Evra wrapped his arm around me and kissed me gently on the head. I looked up at him.
"I miss Sam too." Evra said, "But at least we have eachother." I rested my head on his scaley chest and dozed off. When I woke up I was beside Evra and my head on his chest in his hammock. He fell asleep too. It was dark and I couldn't believe that I slept with Evra Von! I tried to get up but Evra's scaley arms were around my waste and the movement woke him up.
"Where you going?" Evra asked.
"Evra I don't know if we should do this." I said, "This is so weird. I mean like I had a crush on Steve but he hates me, I had a crush on Sam but he's dead, but you're different, I fell in love with you! but I'm afraid something might happen."
"Darren. I love you too." Evra said and kissed my cheek, "And nothing will ever happen between us."
"That's all I wanted to here." I said, "I want you to love me forever." He kissed me on the cheek, then my lips, then pushed me gently on the ground.
