please ask. I'm sure Sarah will probably say yes if you really want it that badly....after she's

recovered from the shock of course!

Disclaimer: : Stargate SG-1 and its characters are the property of Showtime/Viacom, MGM/UA,

Double Secret Productions, and Gekko Productions---wish I could have just an itty-bitty piece, but

am forced to be satisfied as a spectator.

Author's Notes (by Chezza. Just to clarify, I'm *NOT* the author but figured I'd put

something in here anyway):

This is Sarah's very first fanfic! That's been posted anyway. g Make sure you send her lots of

feedback so that she keeps writing. I *like* this one a *lot*, because it's *very* good and because

it was apparently my e-mail signature that inspired it! It's impossible to say how very flattered I

am.... Enjoy!

"Well, spank me Rosie!"

I can't seem to get that phrase out of my head. My Commanding Officer, our 'fearless' leader,

has absolutely no idea how hard it is, to maintain the decorum and poise appropriate to the

situation, when he spouts off sayings like that. Especially when he does it in such a dangerous

situation, as the one we are in now. I try not to laugh out loud and as I glance at my team mates,

I notice Jonas is shaking his head. Teal'c, well, he just inclines his head as always.

The problem isn't so much that he says those things, it's that my mind takes it further. It creates

this mental picture that is very difficult to remove. A picture that I'm desperate to erase, but am

also completely compelled to see in vivid detail. A picture that is most definitely worth *more*

than a thousand words. In fact, I could think of a few *other* pictures that those four words bring

to mind. None of which are entirely appropriate for a Second in Command to be thinking about,

in regards to her Commanding Officer. Even if he *is* the one who started the chain of thought in

the first place.

So, as we make our way to the stargate, I watch his 'six' as he walks in front of me. As I do,

those four words come back to me, unbidden and I think, 'Gladly, sir, gladly.'
