I remember hearing some say nonhetalia people say countries need war to thrive. It makes me think how vibrant life must be as a powerful Nation in battle.
But I also know how terrible and destructive wars are. Wars are not kind creatures. Maybe someday I can expand this into a full story.
War. What a curse it is for us nations. And yet, it is the life source we all desperately need. Without war, we as nations would stagnate and eventually drift off and disappear. War is what lets us thrive and flourish in this world. A nation never feels more alive than when fighting another of our kind. Ask any of us. The power and strength runs through our veins like fire in the midst of battle. There is no truer adrenaline or energy than during war time. We feel the power of a million men, a million tigers, a million gallant steeds. That's how we live. It is our high. But just like any high, it comes with consequences.
War is violence. War is destruction, loss, and pain. We feel that pain across our whole bodies. Every attack on our land is a direct hit to our physical bodies. It tears us up, both on the inside and out. We bleed and take more pain than any human could ever live through. A human body could only handle a fraction of the damage we take on. It feels like millions of sharp knives cutting through us, like millions of fires burning us alive, like millions of gasses rotting our flesh, like millions of bullets ripping through our organs, like millions upon millions of deaths. War is Hell.
But we need it.
War is our poison.
War is our drug.
War is our life.
War is our curse.
I hope it gets my idea across well. Please review! Both positive, negative and random remarks are excepted! Otherwise I have no idea whether people are enjoying my writing or not!
