The Play Chap. 1: Potatoes for Winter
"Ok people, places!" announced Mr. Small. At Elmore Junior High, the students had practiced and practiced and practiced, for their school play, "Potatoes for Winter".
"Ok people gather around!" said Penny. "We've got a BIG crowd tonight! But let's just do it as our rehersals. ONLY IT'S NOT A REHERSAL! THINGS JUST GOT REAL! THEIR WILL BE hundreds OF PEOPLE WATCHING YOU!" Bananna Joe shivered, "Hundreds?... Uhhh…. Joe forgot his lines!" Bannana Joe made an excuse of. "Well, maybe if you BOTHERED TO SHOW UP FOR REHERSALS, you would know what to do!" said Penny angrily.
Later…
"It's starting it's starting!" said Ms. Simion.
The curtains rose, and saw kids such as Anton, Juke, Alan, and Jamie, pretending to farm. "Welcome, to the town of Old Rotten!" said Alan. "Mmmmm…. Winter's a coming! There's something in the air!" pointing up to Gumball pushing down a large bucket of fake snow. A gigantic clump fell on Alan! "Sorry!" said Gumball. Alan popped out of the snow. "In a land, where Yaks go to die." Pointing to Tina in a coustume. "How do we survive? The question my friend. I tell you in one word!
Everyone: Potatoes, Potatoes, potatoes, hey! Potatoes!
Penny: it's so dilishous! And so nitrishous!
Everyone: It can be cooked in many different ways!
Princabal Brown (from the audience): What?
Everyyone: Potatoes!
Brown: Oh.
Everyone: Potatoes, Potatoes, Potatoes, Hey! Potatoes!
"Oh papa!" said Penny to Alan. "This is the best harvest we have ever had!" "Yes, my daughter! The Great Potatoe has served us well this year! We must dance fir him!" said Alan.
Everyone: He is the reason! For the happy season! He makes potatoes grow!
Potatoes , Potatoes, *Gumball lifts Darwin in a potatoe costume* Potatoes! Hey!
Darwin flies around the stage by a string! "Ho, Ho ho! I am the great potatoe!" Said Darwin throwing potatoes at everyone.
