Soma roamed the townhouse's library, looking for something to read while, Ciel attended to some business. The prince figured he could amuse himself by reading and he randomly picked a book. Unfortunately, he picked a book on botanicals and while it was full of beautiful illustrations, Soma found it a difficult read. English was hard enough, but the Latin flower names left him scratching his head in bewilderment. He had no idea what they were or even meant and he knew there was no use asking Agni. Asking Sebastian was tempting, but Soma doubted he would tell him the truth.
Sighing softly, Soma felt he had no other choice but to bother Ciel about it. Closing the book, and tucking it under his arm, he headed down the hall to the study. Approaching the study's door, he knocked. "Ciel…?" he said timidly, opening the door, and sticking his head inside.
"What?" Ciel replied tersely as he looked up form his paperwork, Sebastian hovering by his side.
"Ummm… I don't know these words mean… Can you translate them for me?" Screwing up his courage, Soma approached his friend.
"Translate? I don't speak Bengali."
"I know… English is fine." Soma opened the book and set it on the desk. He pointed to the opening paragraph. "What does this mean?"
"Rosa cymosa," Ciel read out loud, stumbling over the Latin. "There's nothing to translate, Soma, it's just its Latin name. It's not important to know what it means as most people don't. Now if you're done, I have work to do." Ciel looked back down at the correspondence, he was reading.
"Oh… so it doesn't matter that Agni's putting thymus vulgaris in the dressing? Whatever that is…"
"Nope," Ciel said as Sebastian chuckled.
"Okay…" Soma Smiled. "I guess I'd better go, hunh?"
"Yeah…"
