The Overextenous List of Things I Love About Maximum Ride
1. She's easily the most beautiful girl I've ever met. The way her wings are lit by the sun, the way her hair streams in the wind; the way her eyes narrow when I say she's no femme fetale.
2. Great taste in music. Definitely a rock person, hates country. Ah, who doesn't. It's no secret I've walked in on her air shredding the guitar when she thinks she's alone
3. Can kill anything with her bare hands. Erasers, Jeb, Scientists, Jeb, Angel, Jeb...I could go on.
4. She isn't afraid to eat. I mean, as Avian Americans, she really shouldn't worry about her weight. Can possibly eat more then me, I've never asked. And always outburps me.
5. Lets her heart rule her head. Now, this could be a good thing, but when she's trying to save the world, she really has an empty noggin.
6. The fact she's probably reading this in a mock Fang voice that sounds nothing like me.
7. A second Mom, always taking care of us. I want to take care of her, but she would let an Eraser shred her before that happens. Always thinks of what's best for the Flock. Not that she's always right.
8. A genius. Tactical genius, super smart with math and sciences. Can't make a sentence without screwing up, though.
9. Stubborn as a mule. Refuses to let anybody beat her down, and refuses to let our love blind her from her duties.
10. Saviour. Wants to save the world. Doesn't mean she has to. Nobody can saved this screwed up world, metaphorically and physically. Let Black Widow save it, alright, sweetheart?
11. A great leader. Drill sargeant would be the best word, though. My arms still ache from all those pushups.
12. That she needs me sometimes, but the fact she sometimes goes to Dylan instead kinda stings. Sometimes she needs my arms, and sometimes she'll dash off to Minnesota.
13. Never forgets what people have done. Shows no mercy, not even to Jeb.
14. Curious. Never waits for the answers, she pursues them. She's inquisitive. Except when she asks me about Lissa.
15. Doesn't care about how she looks. Can and will cut her hair with a pair of stained scissors if it gets in the way.
16. Her ego. Doesn't let the whole task of saving the world go to her head...okay, who am I kidding?
17. Knows that life is too short and will savour every moment. Can and will be tempted to go to Las Vegas with me.
18. Doesn't lie to you, bluntly honest to those that deserve it.
19. Never leaves a Flock member behind.
20. Forgiving, especially to little traitors who sell you out to evil scientists...wait, no, I'm not talking about Angel...
21. Doesn't take no for an answer, always seeks the truth, no matter how horrible it is. (Damn you, Ter Bortch.)
22. Cares about the safety of her family, The Martinezes. Kinder and sweeter to and Ella then she has ever been to us.
23. Forces us to have an education.
24. Wants us to have a better life, willing to sacrifice herself for us.
25. Always thinks of her friends and family before herself. That is also a terrible quality, as it usually leads to us getting beat up, anyway.
26. Kisses me when I almost die. I should almost die more often.
27. Manages to stand Nudge's talking, even when I want to resort to duct tape.
28. Exploits Iggy's and Gazzy's talent for explosives for good. Except when they blow up the house.
29. Goes weak around the knees whenever she sees hot chocolate cookies...
30. Loves me unconditionally, and I to her.
