Prologue
Matt POV
It first started when I looked up at the sky. It went from early mooing to the middle of the night. But it was different, there weren't any stars in the sky like usual. Instead there were other planets. Not like the ones in our solar system that you see in pictures. They looked different. And they were a lot closer to earth. There was a lot of them, about twenty or so.
Next they came down. In big space ships, like the ones you see in movies. The aliens inside called themselves the daleks. They flew down and started attacking. First they attacked the military bases next the large cities. Our dad was able to get us put of there before they came and started attacking us. We escaped to the forests outside of Boston.
When I look back at the city you can still see the destruction they're causing. They've been gathering up anyone in the city they found, which was most people. I don't know where they took them. Or what they are doing to them. My mom and one of my brothers didn't make it out of there. So we don't know where they are. I hope he's alright.
Later we met up with other people that were able to escape. They called themselves the resistance, the 2nd Mass.
