"Hey face ache!"
2D looked up from his Cheerios and turned in surprise turned in surprise. Murdoc was coming over to him, smirking.
"You'll never guess what I found."
"Wot's that?" 2D asked.
Without a word, Murdoc held up a floppy disk. "Russell and Noodle will be very interested in hearing THIS!"
2D stared at it in blank surprise, puzzled as to why this thing was making Murdoc look like a cat that had eaten the canaries. Then the answer began to piece itself together.
"NONONONONONONONONO!" He screamed, running at Murdoc, trying to take the floppy disc away. "Give it back! Please!"
2D was desperate. Murdoc just laughed.
"Tonight, I'm hosting movie night! This will be the main attraction." With that, he kicked 2D away and walked off.
2D gripped his hair in panic. If this disk got out, his reputation would go down the toilet. "Calm down, D..." He began. "If I can destroy the disk, Noodle and Russell will never have to know."
"Never have to know what?"
2D turned I'm surprise. Noodle was standing in the kitchen.
"Noods! What are you doing?"
Noodle looked confused. "Im getting breakfast. What did you mean by 'never have to know?'"
2D gulped. "Um... Well... That I got Paula pregnant!"
Then he ran off. Noodle stared blankly.
She knew he was lying. He was the father of so many kids, it wouldn't be that shocking if he had impregnated this Paula girl. Noodle shook her head and went to make herself some toast.
Meanwhile, 2D was still running down the hall, trying to find Murdoc. Make him reconsider.
As he ran past Murdoc's room, he paused. The door was slightly ajar. Peering inside, 2D saw Murdoc wasn't in his room, but the floppy disk was on the table. Unattended.
2D gulped. It was risky, but also a guarantee that the others wouldn't find out. Sneaking in, he seized the disk and ran. He didn't stop running until he came to his room. Slamming the door, he laid the floppy disk on his floor, grabbed a random bus the had and started smashing the disk with it.
Once it was nothing but dust, 2D flopped onto his bed.
"That was easy..." He thought. "Maybe... Too easy..."
At that, the door was thrown open.
"FACEACHE!" Murdoc screamed.
2D bolted upright.
"Were you just in my room?"
2D shook his head. "No! I swear I wasn't!"
Murdoc glared at him, trying to find signs of guilt. Finally he turned and left.
2D sighed and flopped back onto his bed.
"I'm not coming out." He declared
That night
"Yo, D!" Russell said, knocking on the door. "Murdoc told me to come get you! He said he had a good movie for us all to watch. Not gonna start until we're all here."
2D gulped. Russell was rather persistent, so he came out of his room and followed Russell to the living room.
"I bet everyone will love this as much as I did." Murdoc smirked.
Once everyone was sitting down, Murdoc put in... A floppy disk and pressed play.
2D went pale. Of course it was easy! Murdoc created a decoy disk! His life flashed before his eyes as the movie began.
In the movie was another band! This one was in a garage. There we're 3 men that no one really recognized and... A younger 2D! This one still had his teeth and eyes!
"Oh no..." 2D whispered as the drummer began to drum.
One by one the instruments began to play until young 2D screamed "WOO-HOO!" a couple times.
2D watched in horror as the band played. Noodle was giggling as Russell's shoulders shook.
Young 2D sang lyrics about getting his head checked by a jumbo jet, and how it wasn't easy... Followed by more 'WOO-HOO's.
Once the video ended, 2D slumped.
"I was previously in a band called Blur. It's different from the Gorillaz. I really didn't want anyone to see that..."
Everyone watched in silence.
Then Murdoc chased 2D around the room, screaming "WOO-HOO!"
