I knocked on the door of Kelp Head's house. Sally informed me that the dimwit had gotten himself sick and was sporting up a fever. There goes our date. Sally and Paul were supposed to go on their own date when we were to go, but now that Percy's sick, Sally is rethinking it. That's why I'm here; I told her to go have her date and I wouldn't stay with Percy and help him. The door opened, waking me out of my daze.
I was ushered in and Sally exclaimed,"Annabeth! You're here, I really don't mind canceling our date, I mean Percy is really a handful."
"No, no Sally, you go out and have your fun and I'll stay with him. It's no biggie, I mean what kind of girlfriend would I be if I ignored him? I mean it, everything will be fine."
Sally reluctantly agreed and gave a warm smile as she and Paul went through the door. That was before. This is me now, trying to get Percy to have his medicine. "Seaweed Brain! Swallow your medicine; your sick!"
"No! I don't wanna!" He yelled childishly.
"No kisses for a week," I grinned.
He pouted with his baby seal eyes that almost threw me off. When that didn't work he made a face and downed the liquid before choking on it because he's Percy. My Seaweed Brain ran to the restroom and all I heard were gags. I went in and rubbed his back and whispered soothing words of encouragement. His coughs were nothing but bile and bowed his head in shame as few stray tears leaked out of those beautiful orbs. My heart broke that moment as I wiped them up. "It's okay, baby, don't cry." I kissed his forehead when he cheekily remarked," I thought no kisses Wise Girl." I smiled and kissed him full on the lips," Just this once, only cuz I love you." I helped him to his bed where he instantly crashed. Hours later Sally and Paul returned home to find me gazing at Seaweed Brain's innocent face with my hand intertwined with his and my other hand running through his hair. Sally thanked me and we embraced and I got on my way home. What an eventful evening.
