Hey, If u like this u can thank deep depression for it. Lol.
Let's get it over with before I cry kay? XD
Zuko can't sleep all cuz she haunts him. He relives regrets and thinks about the destiny he chose at night.
Zuko awoke the world suddenly hit him. He was panting. He saw her in his dreams.
She was there touching him kissing him. Loving him. Telling him she could heal his soul. She touched his scar so delicately.
He blinked and could see her in front of him her hands covering his face searching for everything. She was kissing him so passionately. But then she was gone.
He got up from his bed, rushing to the bathroom. Splashing water from the basin on his face. He wished to clear his mind. But it did only the opposite. He could only think of her more. It was her element after all. He looked at the mirror before him.
He saw her standing behind him. Smiling. She was smiling.
He'd never seen her smile. And wow it was breathtaking. He turned around to see nothing. Then it hit him.
Reality hit him. He saw her hugging the Avatar, her leaving him, the look the Avatar gave him as they left, and the look on her face when she was holding the Avatar's limp body. It was betrayal, sadness, and fear.
He ran his fingers through his growing hair. Thinking back he'd never seen her smile. He'd never seen her happy. Whenever she was near him she frowned. He didn't even know her name. But she loved life. He knew that. She loved her mother and that necklace.
Zuko stumbled like a drunken man to his bed again his head filled with thoughts of her. How would she smile? How did she look when she was happy?
He knew he would never know. He pushed her away just like everyone else that tried to help. But why wouldn't she leave his mind. That he didn't know. He didn't know why he dreamed of her kissing him at night.
Why he wanted to make her smile. But he knew more than anything he couldn't because all he'd ever done was hurt her. No matter how much she cared and opened up, he only hurt her.
Maybe she was right. He was Fire Nation; it was in his blood to spread war and hatred. He was just like his father. His hand flew to his scar. Traces over wear her hand was.
Zuko closed his eyes imagining her in front of him touching his scar. It soothed his nerves. He felt invincible when she had done it. Then he opened his eyes. She was gone. It was his fault. Now she was gone. Gone forever. Maybe they would meet again. Maybe he could finally learn her name or make her smile. Or maybe he would end up bringing her more sorrow.
Zuko frowned at the last thought tucking himself further into the bed.
The enchanting beautiful watertribe girl that haunted his thoughts with her soft touch, deep eyes, warm nature and troubling frown every night; he hurt her. She was gone because of him. She haunted him. Every day. Every night.
He closed his eyes trying to make sleep take him, but all he could see was her looking up at him. But this time he saw her smiling. Then she kissed him. He imagined her kisses to be as soft as her touch, deep as her eyes, warm as her nature. Yet it all troubled him as her frown. She is like his conscience reminding him of what he could have had. Could of, had he done the right thing.
Sleep took Zuko.
He awoke again. This time another word on his tongue. A name that made him feel more guilty than confusing. Uncle.
Who betrayed who?
Until next time…
