Chapter one: Dog fish Pirates

The pirate crew stormed up the beach in a flurry of rage. The captain of the Dog Fish pirates, a short but stout man that when by the name Charles Linck, carried a pistol in one hand and a sword in the other waving them around like a mad man as he ran. He lead the pack of thugs into town stopped and started firing his pistol into the air. The towns folk huddled in hiding anywhere they can and waited for anticipation for what was to come.

"Listen up here my gentle Folks!" screamed the captain.

"I'm sure you recognized that there jolly roger" he pointed to his ship parked in the harbor. On its tallest mast hung a jolly roger of a dog skull and cross bones, a symbol of an enemy to the world government.

"I'm sure you have heard of our little reputation around these parts so there is no need for an introduction" he smirked.

"As you can see that me and my crew have been traveling around the grand line for months now and we are horribly famished" he said as he rubbed his round stomach.

"So just if you ever so kindly my peaceful towns folk give us our previsions so we can be on our merry way" the captain said with a hint of urgency.

Something was off about this crew. Why would they ask for stuff and they could clearly just take the darn stuff? Where they in a hurry and didn't want to put up a fuss? On closer inspection, the captain had a nervousness about him.

"Fine well give you what you want" A man stepped out of one of the buildings and walked towards the pirates.

"but you need to leave as soon as get what you want" It was Victor, the carpenter of the island that approached Linck.

"Can you promise us that much?" Victor crossed his arms over his crest.

Linck stared hard at the man and then started to laugh "BeHa ha ha ha!" linck bellowed like a mad man then suddenly ceased the laughter.

"You have 1 hour to get 1 months of supplies. That should be plenty enough time right sir?" Linck turned to stormed off before Victor could come up with a reply.

As the pirates returned to their ship, I took this as my chance to come out of the towns clock tower, the Island's seconded tallest building. It was the perfect watch roost during the day time and my seconded favorite spot to hang out.

The towns folk where still standing around in shock. It was the first time that a prate crew didn't start rampaging on the Island to get what they want.

"Did you notice it too Vien?" Victor said to me.

"Yah I did, it's strange why would they only want a month's supplies when they could have more?" I said

"This could only mean one thing" Victor said hoarsely "They in a hurry to get out of here and only stopped out of desperation."

"Do you think the Marines are after them?"

"No" he glanced to the sea "Not after small fry like them. A pirate hunter could handle their crew" he continued "They are definitely running away from something and it's coming our way."

"Something a lot bigger" I whispered.
