Hi! I am doing a wolf quest story, and I need help with wolves. These are the ranks.

Alpha(s) - Alphas are the leaders of the pack. They dominate the pack and make sure everything stays in line. The Alphas' word is law within the pack. Alphas can decide if a wolf's rank changes, or if they are being excluded from the pack. They are the first to eat meals, and will show their dominance by fighting any wolf within that pack that rebels them.

Beta(s) - Betas shadow the Alphas. This pair is second in command within the pack. They can enforce punishment upon wolves and make minor decisions for the welfare of the pack without the Alphas' consent. The Betas take over Alpha position when they are busy or unable to do their job.

Delta(s) – Deltas are third in command, and third to eat. They are still highly respected and obeyed to. Deltas cannot punish wolves without the Alpha or Beta consent. They join in Higher Ranked meetings.

Guardians - These wolves are close to the Higher Ranks and act as their personal guards.

Elders - Elders are highly respected wolves. These wolves once had a rank but are retired. They spend their days relaxing and roaming. Elders will often watch pups and spin tales for them. The Alphas will come to Elders for advice.

Healer- The Healer has the task of learning, memorizing, and recording which plants can be used for/do what, as well as healing their fellow pack members. They are required to take on an apprentice as soon as they reach two years into their job, and will continued to teach their Apprentice until they retire.

Warriors – Warriors are intermediate fighters. They train under the guidance of a Guardian to become one and they train Fighters.

Fighters - Fighters are usually for new wolves within the pack. These rank is for the newest fighting skilled wolves, and for wolves looking to proceed into the Warrior rank.

Guards - Guards will stand watch by the den, taking shifts or watch over a certain wolf within the pack. They defend and protect until they die

Nanny(ies) - take care of the Pack's next generation. All new wolves will start with this rank, once it has been discovered if they can be trusted.

Rankless – This is where all new wolves start, until they are found to be trusted. They don't have set tasks, instead being assigned tasks, trying to find out where they fit.

Scout- The Scout(s) are much like Guards, although they travel throughout the territory and with the hunting parties.

Pups- Pack's next generation. They are protected and watched at all times

Omega(s) - Omegas are the lowest rank within the pack. They are in this rank most often for punishment. Omegas are often lashed at by the Alphas or other ranks. They are treated poorly. HOWEVER, they are important to the pack, as they keep tension down by being the punching bags.

Metal Worker- The Metal Worker has mastered the art of working metal, most often by being trained by owls. (First person who gets this reference will get five wolves instead of one-two)

Apprentices- a wolf training under another wolf.

Messenger- The Messenger, or courier, is a wolf who must be fleet of foot, as they carry on messages throughout the pack, as well to other packs. They are diplomats, representing the packs unless the matter needs an Alpha, Beta, or Delta to be there.

Fetcher- They find things that are requested. Ex: A wolf wants a pan to put in their den for water, they tell the fetcher, the fetcher goes and gets it.

Seer- The Seer has the ability to read the stars, clouds, and signs. They converse with ancestors and are very in-tune with nature.

Storyteller- The storyteller collects many stories throughout their lives, building friendships with other storytellers. They then tell the stories to their packmates.
