Thomas couldn't believe it. They were finally out of the Maze. Well, it was only 3 days before he came up in The Box, but he didn't care.
Thomas was still shocked about what happened with Gally and Chuck... but he tried not to think about it too much.
"It's alright. You're safe now." The man told them. Thomas wasn't too sure about that.
Minho was staring at the outside world, as if it was his first time seeing it (probably because it was his first time).
The helicopter was getting lower and lower until it came to an abrupt stop. They had arrived in a huge city...behind a wall? Something wasn't right here.
There were buildings everywhere. There was grass, and... People?
There were so many people. They looked like little ants trying to take a lollipop back to the nest.
The helicopter landed on a helicopter pad on the roof of a building. As all of the Gladers jumped out of the aircraft, Thomas noticed Teresa. She looked very hesitant, and got out slowly.
Thomas walked over to her.
"Hey, everything is going to be okay." He told Teresa, not particularly knowing what else to say.
Teresa said absolutely nothing. Good talk. Thomas thought.
