"Marlin? Can you come here?" says Dory
Marlin came over worried something was going on given that Dory has been feeling sick for a while, she went to the doctor fish today and just came back from the doctor fish.
"What's wrong Dory?" asks Marlin "What did the doctor say?"
"I'm pregnant, Marlin. Were going to parents." says Dory
He was stunned into silence for a few minutes then smiled hugging her close. She smiles and dances with him a little bit. He stops when he realizes he is going to fast for a baby.
"S-sorry I am just excited to have another baby. " says Marlin
"You are? Phew I was worried you would worried because of Nemo and err...never mind." says Dory
"Yeah I know for a minute I was but now...I am so happy you are alright." says Marlin
"We should let people know! Especially I was told I wasn't far from our egg coming. How long did he say…." says Dory thinking
"True. But we should tell Nemo first. Also how do we tell the others?" asks Marlin
"Ooo! We should throw a party! A big surprise party!" says Dory
"Great idea Dory, when?" asks Marlin
"Um….next week!" says Dory
"Great!" says Marlin
They swim over to where Nemo is playing, he stops and waves at them.
"Can we talk to you for a minute, Nemo?" asks Marlin
"Sure" says Nemo, confused
They swim off a little ways just in case someone was in hearing distance.
"What is going on?" asks Nemo
"Well we wanted to tell you some good news. You're going to be a big brother." says Marlin
It took a minute for him to get what they were saying but he isn't stupid, he beams and swims around all happy. Then comes back, Marlin calms him down a bit.
"Is the baby a boy or a girl?" asks Nemo
"Uh..not sure yet they said the egg has to hatch to find out." says Dory
"I can't wait to see if I am going to have a big brother or sister." says Nemo
"Neither can we" says Marlin and Dory
"Oh but you can't tell anyone we want to surprise everyone" says Dory
"Okay! How?" asks Nemo
"Well we are going to throw a reveal party next week but it is going to be a surprise party." says Marlin
"Okay!" says Nemo getting excited again.
A week comes and goes and it is time for the party, of course everyone comes wondering what is going to be talked about because all three of them have said "we can't tell you until the party happens", while giving out invites. They especially invited Jenny and Charlie, Nemo's class and Mr. Ray. Since Charlie and Jenny are going to be grandparents and the kids adore Dory. Marlin and Dory decide to wait to tell them till later because there is a lot of people to entertain. So they keep their guests busy with Nemo's help for a couple hours. Then they gather everyone around excited, Nemo gets in the middle of Marlin and Dory making them very happy that they can tell everyone.
"Well thank you all for coming. You are probably wondering why we have you here." says Dory
"Yeah" says Everyone
"We have exciting news!" says Nemo, excited
"We are actually going to have a baby soon." says Marlin
Everyone cheered at that and gave the family a congratulatory cheer and they spend more time with Nemo and Dory. Which Marlin finds cute and spends some time with the boys.
