The best part of a mission
From the moment I was born I'm destined to be a shinobi. Or to rephrase myself, from the moment I was sacrificed to the bugs I have only one way to survive. To live in harmony with my bugs, to supply them with enough chakra to keep them satisfied, I have to train hard and become a well-skilled ninja.
But I never complain. Being a shinobi is my life. I really enjoy it and being useful to the village gives me a feeling of delight.
I like going on missions; meeting up with my teammates, getting a mission from the hokage, taking the last preparations before the leave, getting to the place of destiny, doing the given task, getting back to the village, reporting the mission to the hokage and coming home again…
As I near my own house, two dogs are running towards me. They jump happily up to me.
'Hello, Kikaimaru, Kugimaru' I greet the dogs, stroking them on their heads. They bark with joy in return.
Together with the two pets I walk up to the door. The woman I love is already there waiting for me.
'I'm home' I say, kissing her on her cheek.
'Is that all I get from you?' She asks me, putting her hands on her hips 'Aburame Shino, you've been away for 8 days, 4 hours and 23 minutes, so do you really think I'm satisfied with just a little kiss on the cheek?'
Before I can answer, her lips are already enclosing mine. I don't know how long we kiss, a few seconds, a couple of minutes, many hours…, but like always it feels great.
'Welcome back, Shi-kun' She smiles.
I smile back and embrace her.
'It's great to be home again, Hana-chan'
I'm a shinobi by heart, I like every part of the ninjahood, but the best thing of all is to come home after a mission and to be close to my most beloved again...
A/N: I'm having 2 weeks of from college, so I've finally time to spent on fiction again :-) Starting of with ShinoHana :-D
