The world conference was as lively as usual; almost all of nations were bickering, some louder than others. The current topic at hand was world hunger, although it had been discarded almost as soon as it had been brought up. Vietnam was sitting quietly in her seat, lost in her thoughts, distracting herself from the obnoxious noise around her. Before she knew it, the meeting was adjourned, and to nobody's surprise, nothing of importance had been accomplished.

Countries stood up from their places at the long wooden table and left, one by one. Vietnam was no exception. She left without a word, quickly, but not hastily, making her way out of the room. She walked while staring at the ground in front of her, avoiding eye contact as best she could. Without warning, the young woman promptly collided with what she could only presume was another person.

"Ouch..." Mutter the opposing party, rubbing his head.

"Oh, I-I'm so sorry!" Vietnam stuttered, slightly fluster by the previous collision. She held out her hand, silently offering to help him up.

"It's fine." The blonde young man answered, placing his glasses back on his face and picking up his laptop bag. He accepted her offer and she pulled him up. He looked into her golden eyes and blinked. "Vietnam, right?" He guessed, the tone of his voice suggesting that he was fairly confident with his presumption.

"Yes. And you are?" Vietnam nodded, slightly embarrassed at the fact that he knew her name, and she was unaware of his.

"Estonia." He replied, a friendly grin appearing on his face. "It's very nice to meet you."

"Likewise." I knew that I recognized him, but now that I think about it, he is quite handsome... Vietnam thought, mentally scolding herself afterwards for even thinking such a thing.

"Well, I guess I'll see you around, Vietnam! Maybe we could do something sometime!" Estonia said, his smile ever apparent.

"Yeah, see you." A smile appeared on Vietnam's face as she said goodbye to her fellow country. Estonia proceeded to walk past her and back into the conference room, assumedly because he forgot something.

Vietnam pulled both of her hands up and covered her mouth, her eyes wide as she looked back at the doors that Estonia had just walked through.

Did I just...smile?

(A/N: 1. Okay, so I've recently fallen in love with this crack pairing, even though I'm the only person in the world that actually ships it. It's just so cute! / Well anyways, I decided I was going to write some fanfiction for it, and hopefully convert some people into my kind! =D There is probably going to be more EstoViet [that's what I've decided to call it] stuff in the future, and it's all gonna be fluff, 'cause I can't write hardcore romance.

2. I know it's pretty OOC, and not to mention cliche.

3. In case you didn't know, in the 2011 Christmas Event, it is shown that Vietnam doesn't know how to smile. That's why the ending is supposed to be cute. *wink wink nudge nudge* No? Okay...)
