(author's note: a small piece of fan poetry concerning the complex relationship between Andrew and Warren.)
---
You taste like plastic
And metallic cords
I remember the smiles
And the piercing swords
When you turned from me
In despise.
Our flower's withering
In your warm, soft hands
I couldn't see
Midst our beautiful dance
That you were a devil
In disguise.
Did you even notice
When first I met your gaze
That something stirred within me
Made my world a purple haze?
And did you even care to see
The love that grew within?
Or did you just discard the thought
Disregard it as a sin?
I'm caught up in my head
In these our lovely sins.
And I want to believe you
When you say evil always wins.
I'd do anything to be with you
But you just slip away -
Yet if you ever asked me
I'd die for you today.
Somewhere along the line I lost
My fragile sense of pride
I made pretend that you spoke truth
When I knew that you lied
Love's dulling my perception
And when the night is through
No matter what you did before
I'll run right back to you.
