Do you know how amazing it is?
It's beyond amazing to have friends you can always rely on.
I was never really used to it. I mean, I had made friends with the servants at my old home. They were all so kind to me, though sometimes I wasn't sure if it was a forced kindness or not.
But, if it all came down to it, would they have come to my aid when needed? If you disregarded my status, they might not have. I loved them dearly, but would they risk everything for me? Most likely not.
The two people that I trusted with my life aren't there anymore. They both went away on the same day. My mom died, and my dad was left as a shell of the loving man he once was. Years later, after trying to reconcile with me, he died also.
That left me alone, right? Wrong.
Somewhere along the way, I was picked up unexpectedly by a friend.
I had heard of Fairy Tail before, and had encountered the mages as a young girl a time or two.
So, naturally, when I ran away, I wanted to go and become a part of that guild. Become a part of Fairy Tail.
Though I wanted it to happen, I wandered aimlessly for the longest time, searching for said guild. It wasn't until I was involved in a plot did I formally meet a Fairy Tail mage.
Next thing I knew, I was officially a mage of Fairy Tail!
It was like one big, happy family. A family that I had never had. A family that I was becoming a part of.
Over the next few months, I made friendships that were beyond anything I had ever had before.
That all came to a halt as the guild was attacked. I soon found out that my father had hired a dark guild to kidnap me and bring me back home. I, after a while, was ready to go back home in order to save the people I had come to love like family.
But, you know what?
They didn't let me.
They hid me, fought for me, and nearly died just so I could have my happiness.
That's when I realized that I had friends I could rely on.
They even did it again, when the whole Infinity Clock fiasco came up.
And, through it all, I've found people that I can trust with my life.
People that would catch me if I fell.
That would fight for me if I was in danger.
That would go to any means to get me safely back to them.
People that love me and care for me like I've rarely ever seen.
And I love them all.
I could easily list how much I love them all, but I don't have the time to do that.
I'm just so glad that Natsu brought me to Fairy Tail.
Do you know how amazing having a family is?
I wouldn't change it for the world.
Meh, it's short, but this came to me during History today, and I nearly started crying for some reason.
Be prepared, readers. I have in the works a multi-chapter Fairy Tail fanfiction! I have nearly two chapters written already. Be looking for it! :D
