This is a sonnet (a b a b c d c d e f e f g g rhyme scheme in iambic pentameter) about God's salvation and His great, unconditional love He has for all of us, His children. I really like this one and it took quite some time to write. Please read and review! ~Sarah



Sonnet of God's Salvation and Love



With love, God sent His one and only son,

Who gave His life to save us from our sin.

His own lost sheep, He will not ever shun.

And now, against the devil, we can win.

I once was lost, but now I've found the Way,

I once was blind, but now the Truth, I see,

And I will praise and worship Him each day,

For from the chains of sin, He's set me free.

He shows His boundless mercy, love, and care,

And gave eternal life in all His grace.

He frees us from the devil's tempting snare,

And wraps us in His loving, sweet embrace.

Your heart is empty, He will fill the hole.

Just come to Him and He will save your soul.
