She had always been Cameron's girl, or Cameron's ex-girl depending on the year. She had never been his, never would be. What they had was physical, she came to him when she needed comfort, when she needed to feel loved. He knew it was wrong, he wasn't stupid. He knew Sean would kill him if he ever found out. But all she had to do was smile at him and he was done, resistance was futile. He'd do anything for her to smile at him like that again.

He remembered when he had ended it. She had cried and pleaded and then she just got angry. He didn't want it to end, but he couldn't keep doing it. Hurting her, whether she knew it or not. She had a life ahead of her, and he wasn't going to be the one holding her back. She had virtue, that's why he liked her in the first place. But now, knowing he had taken that away, he felt wrong, dirty somehow. So he left her, standing in the street, alone, but it was for her own good.

She was okay now, now that she had moved on. She was back to being Cameron's girl. He didn't regret what had happened, he never would. He had gotten to see her smile, and thats all that really mattered. He'd still kill to see her happy, except now he was happy too. He moved on, but he didn't stray too far. He still had to be there when she smiled.
