Laugh at my name, but not at me.
Tohru stood in the doorway to Yuki's room waiting for him to notice, but he didn't until she coughed softly.
"Oh Tohru how long have you been standing there," he asked
"Not long maybe three minutes. What are you doing?" Tohru walked over to him and sat down on the bed. Tohru took his hand in hers and looked at him with sorrow filled eyes.
Yuki looked at her a little worried. "Tohru what is wrong?"
"Yuki I know that we figured everything out, but sometimes I just want to hug you, and I can't. I want to be able to hold you and comfort you when you need it but I can't," tears started to flow down her cheeks and onto their conjoined hands.
Yuki used his free hand and wiped away her tears. "Tohru please don't tell me you want to leave me or the Sohma house," he said, his eyes wide with worry.
"Yeah it is. Yuki I love you, but I can't stand the lack of touch. I need a guy who is not part of the zodiac. If only you can get rid of your name and your curse. I love your personality, and not your looks, and not in the bad way. You are cute, but I love your personality more. I just hate your curse," she tried to explain in her own weird way.
"Tohru you know what might happen if you leave," he hoped that would change her mind.
"I know. Yuki just the lack of what I want just makes cry. I don't ask for much, buy a hug," she said through sobs.
Yuki nodded and went to his feet pulling Tohru with him. "Just two things before you leave. One I guess it was a waist to buy this," Yuki pulled out a small box with a diamond ring inside. "And Two," Yuki pulled her into his arms waiting to change into the mouse that was buried deep inside him, but he didn't. He took the time that he had to hold her to claim her mouth.
Tohru was taken by surprise and hugged him and kissed him back.
After several minutes of them being locked together in pure bliss; Tohru pulled away. "Why didn't you shift?"
"I don't know. Will you still marry me," he asked.
"No Yuki Sohma I will not. It's just your family and what you are," she said as she left.
"Tohru Honda you can laugh at me name, but not at me because that is who you fell in love with."
