Question: Did Quintessa have something to do with Lockdown hunting for Optimus in Age of Extinction?
Author's Answer: I think that she did have something to do with Lockdown. If you take the time to think about it, you will find that Lockdown and Quintessa are not that different. Here are the reasons I came up with:
They both were after Optimus Prime.
They both hated the Autobot and Decepticon war.
According to the Transformers Wiki, she had indeed sent Lockdown to retrieve Prime for her. When he fails, he goes to her himself and Lockdown's death was wasted.
