NCIS, Season 8 'Recruited' - extended scene
Walter Magnus just couldn't get over how much NCIS had changed. There was equipment he couldn't even pronounce the names of let alone tell you what they did. When he was there most, if not all, of the scientists were men, certainly no-one looked like Abigail Sciuto and he got the impression that that was the way she liked it. She was a bouncing ball of energy, he never knew anyone could have that much energy.
Ducky knew what he was thinking "you should see her when she gets excited"
Magnus wasn't sure he wanted to, if she was like this when she wasn't excited what on Earth was she like when she was?
He and Ducky were standing by the big monitor, which almost filled the whole wall, while Abby filled Gibbs in on some further details. Then he saw something that just wouldn't have happened in his day.
Magnus turned to Ducky "He…just kissed her" he said a little confused.
Ducky smiled "consider it an innocent term of endearment."
Abby smiled at the tingle that she got every time Gibbs kissed her like that. It meant that he was proud of her, that he was getting ready to close the case, but, most of all it meant she got to see him that night. The innocent kiss that everyone got to see during the day made her think of the less innocent kisses she would be getting that night.
"Well, my dear, we shall be going, don't want to disturb you any longer" Ducky said walking over to Abby.
Abby leaned down and gave him a hug "you could never disturb me Ducky"
She walked the two gentlemen to the door of her lab, and promised to see them later for a cup of tea.
Magnus walked with Ducky back to autopsy, he might have been loosing his memory but even he could see there was more to that kiss.
"Tell some thing Donald. Gibbs and Abby…"
"That my dear man is a very long story." As they heard the music go on in Abbys' lab Doctor Mallard began his story "It began when…"
