Okay, so I was bored and decided to make another fanfic. Based on the ballet "The Swan Lake" but my version and of course, Harvest Moon version! Enjoy!
The Swan Lake
Once upon a time, there was two princesses named Claire and Mary. Claire was the favorite by the king and queen and the most beautiful girl in her kingdom and loves to visit the lake nearby every night. While her sister, Mary, was envious and wanted to be the one and only princess and be the favorite of their Mom and Dad. So she wanted to make her not be existing anymore and she made a witch cast a spell on Princess Claire.
One night, while Claire was visiting the lake. The witch appeared and cast the spell on the innocent princess, and turned her into a white swan.
"Hahaha! Now you are the princess of the swans!" The witch laughed gleefuly. "The spell can only be gone when someone declares their eternal love for you, but no one will ever fall in love with a swan like you!" she laughed once more and left the poor swan princess alone. When the next night approached, Claire now realized that she turns into human again only at night.
The next day, a young prince named Gray went out hunting on the lake and spotted a white swan. He prepared his gun and was about to shoot it but he saw that the swan transformed into a beautiful young lady. He noticed that it was Princess Claire and falls for her. He went closer to the girl and introduces himself. Claire fell in love with the prince too. She told the prince what happened to her and the prince approved
"My lovely princess, will you come to the ball with me tomorrow?" Gray asked.
"I will be honored to come" Claire replied. Gray was obliged to hear that, and they heard music somewhere.
"May I have this dance?" Gray offered, Claire took it and they danced and danced. They stopped when the sky was now at dusk and the princess told him that she must go and she ran away, leaving the prince behind.
The witch saw them and told Princess Mary all of what happened to Claire and Gray. The princess was furious. Mary was now very envious because she was the one who should go with Prince Gray to the ball.
"How dare she steal my prince away!" She said angrily. The witch told the princess that she can make her look like Claire and attend to the ball. The night happened and Prince Gray was waiting for his princess to arrive. He saw two people arrive to the palace and it was Mary and the witch disguised. Mary looks like Claire now but she is dressed in black and looks like a black swan but the prince was convinced that it was Claire and danced with her. He didn't know that Claire was already outside the window, looking at Gray and the imposter dance.
After the dance, Gray announced his eternal love to Mary and once Claire heard that, she cried and the witch revealed herself and Mary and laughed. Gray was in disbelief and saw Claire at the window, crying.
Claire, heartbroken, ran as fast as she could and noticed that three people was following her. She arrived at a cliff and she was at the edge of it. Gray was there with the witch and Princess Mary. Gray was asking for forgiveness but Claire didn't answered and she turned to Princess Mary and the witch, who was surprised on what she's doing and Claire jumped off the cliff and died. She was now free at last.
Gray was now sobbing and was angry at the witch and he pushed her to the cliff. Mary was crying for what she has done and felt ashamed to herself. She doesn't want to end it that way so she ran to the woods and never came back. Gray was all alone, crying.
He saw behind him was Claire, who has wings. She was standing there, crying.
"I'm sorry..." She whispered and flew back to heaven.
