They discovered that it was a trap when the portal closed behind them- The connection with Tattletale was lost.
The lack of visible infrastructure, or even hints of one were the next clue.

Sophia got panicked that they were now stranded who knows where. Imp asked if it wasn't what she wanted- to avoid the battle.

Taylor was more worried about Lung deciding he is better served alone now, and taking his anger on them, as well as any other surprises, as she used any insects she could to scout.

It would take days until the first signs of humanity will be discovered by them.

The battle looked worse and worse-with their lord assassinated by the traitors who welcomed them.

Just as they were about to be overwhelmed, about to be slaughtered by that vile greedy man, some thing strange happened.

Catelyn Stark will never forget what she saw that day, for her entire life. Nor will any other who was there to witness it.

It looked like someone was attacking the guards outside the hall.

More and more guards were fleeing, even ignoring the shouted orders of Walder Fray and his threats.

A Roar was sounded, followed by Crashing of doors.

Who entered... no, WHAT entered looked like some monster from the deep hell-sent to unleash its unholy wrath upon the treacherous Frays-a punishment from the seven, surely.

It was like a man, big-the size of the GreatJon Umbar. It wore trousers, made of some strange material, and no other clothes save a mask on the face were seen on the creature-for while it had the shape of a man, the body was covered in metal like scales, that were -to the growing horror of the guards, that were falling to it in increasing number- impenetrable to the swords. It used the large metal hands to tear the soldiers apart, slowly getting bigger and bigger in size.

Walder was no longer paying attention to her, nor was she to the Fray murderers- all eyes were on the demon, who ignored the lord's threats, and promises of riches and prestige, as if mortal words were beneath it.

When guards that have failed to flee at first were all on the ground- most dead, and only she and the old man who order her babe killed- the beast locked eyes with them.

A sudden call, in an unfamiliar language was made, and it made her realize someone else entered, as the one who killed so many armed men with its bare hands, without taking a single scratch stood down, after a growl.

The newcomer was much thinner, though not much shorter, and just as inhuman.

It was a figure clad in form fitting black cloth that left little to the imagination, just as strange as what the first demon wore, and different in another way, with what looked like gray armor segments. The face was a mask, with strange, big, yellow inhuman eyes, and long curly hair from behind it the only hint of humanity on the head. But the most terrifying aspect of the new demon, that reminded her of insects for some reason was the swarm that covered it. Cockroaches, ants and others crawled all over its body as wasps, flies and bees were flying around it. making it look even more inhuman.

As she looked upon the answer the seven gave her plea to help Robb- who was dead, Catelyn wondered if the Demons will be her salvation, or take her life as well.

Something i suggested before at SB, and not seeing satisfying attempts, was forced by my slave-mistress of a Muse to write.
