Hey there people, this is my first story, it will probably be updated around once or twice a week, sorry but I don't have much time to work on it, Rachel/Thalia romance, hope you enjoy it :P
NO. Thalia commanded herself, catching her fingers creeping between her legs and into her, now very wet, thong. No, she commanded again, I will not pleasure myself to those fantasies. She curled her fingers into a fist and rolled over into a fettle position, it will only make avoiding those actions harder, and I won't be able to resist if it gets any harder.
Thalia got out of bed and padded over to the lone window in the back of cabin one and stared at the moon remembering the night she had quit the hunt.
"Artemis?" Thalia called softly from the door to the moon goddess's tent.
They were camped near Chicago; they were here because of the sudden increase in the street monster population. That's right, all those (okay MOST) beggars on the streets of Chicago are not looking for you money, they want your blood.
"Come in".
She slipped through the silver flap of the tent and into what would appear as a trophy room, it had spoils from many, MANY, endangered animals, not to mention monsters, hanging on the walls (the tent, just like the hunters back packs, was much larger on the inside then it looked on the outside). A small girl around eleven or twelve sat at the other end of the tent on a large, white cushion.
"You need something?" The small girl asked.
"I- I was wondering if… um-" Thalia started, slightly shaky because she just realized that this could go very wrong and possibly end up with a few people dead.
"You would like to resign from the hunters, am I correct?" Artemis cut her off with an even tone
"Um, yes my lady."
"Please, take a seat," Artemis gestured to another cushion that appeared across from her.
Shaking slightly with fear Thalia slowly sat cross legged on the floor, careful to avoid eye contact.
"You wish to resign because you feel that you are not living your life, you are not getting anywhere, you wish to stay in one place rather than be always moving, changing."
Her throat sudden went dry and she nodded, not ready to trust her ability to speak.
"Very well then, I expect you will have your bags packed by sunrise, I will have Apollo give you a ride to camp."
Thalias face went pale and her eyes went wide, "no please no, anything but the sun chariot," she managed to croak out.
A thin smile stretched across Artemis's lips, "very well, I shall find another means of transport for you then, sleep well."
As Thalia rose, she politely bowed and placed her lieutenant's tiara on the floor between them and walked out of the tent flap in a daze.
She had done it; she had resigned and was finally going to spend some time with the person she had dreamed about since her near death in the second titan war.
Rachel Elizabeth Dare.
