A.N. ~ Sooooo my second story. I'm sorry for the readers of my story Sky's Tale. I had a lot of chapters done and then my computer crashed and I lost everything. After that I got this new idea in my head and I just had to write another story... I hope you enjoy this story though!
I don't own the mortal instruments. I own the plot and Skylar Crystalchild.
Chapter 1: The First Day
"Have fun!" mom shouted from inside the car. "I will! Bye! I love you!" Skylar shouted back, waving at her mother. She watched as her mother road away. She threw her bag with clothes over her shoulder and picked her guitar case of the ground. Skylar loved to play the guitar and loved to sing, a talent she got from her mother. She loved to make music so she asked her mother if she could go to a music summer camp named; Jam Camp.
When she looked around she saw a few cabins for people to sleep in, a massive lake; for a big part surrounded by trees, and a few larger buildings blocking the rest of the camp that lay behind. She saw a small corner of a stage behind the building.
"Hey. Do you need any help? You seem kind of lost." A voice behind her asked. She turned around to see a geeky looking boy with brown hair and dark brown eyes staring back at her. He held out his hand for her to shake which she did. "First time here?" Skylar dropped his hand and replied. "Yeah... I'm Skylar, but most people call me Sky. Uhmm could you show me where I have to go?" The boy pushed his glasses further on his nose. "Of course. My name is Simon." He smiled at her and pointed to one of the larger buildings she saw earlier. "There you can see in which cabin you're staying." Simon told her and together they started walking to the desk.
When they arrived, Sky got her cabin number and a map from the camp. Simon offered to show her around which she declined. "No, thanks though. I'll find my way." She smiled softly at the brown haired boy. "Well okay. See you later?" he asked. Sky nodded at him and waved him goodbye. Simon walked away leaving Skylar alone.
She studied the map for a few minutes before walking in, what she thought was the good direction to her cabin. When she arrived at her cabin, she saw some movement inside the cabin already. She walked to the door and softly kicked against the door because her hand were full. The door opened and inside stood a boy with golden blond hair.
"Ow. I'm sorry. I think this is the wrong cabin." Sky told the boy, turning back around. She saw the smirk on the boys face. "Which cabin is yours?" the boy asked, clearly amused. Skylar turned back to the still smirking boy. "Number 12." She told him. The boy stepped aside. "Welcome in your cabin." The boy said his smirk never leaving his face. "What? This is number 12? But this is your cabin too." Sky said with a confused expression. "I think there are not enough beds for the girls, so welcome with the boys." the boy walked back inside, Skylar opened the door wider with her foot and stepped inside. She looked around the room. 4 separated beds, 2 on either side of the room. On the left side there was a big window, the right bed already used by the golden boy. "You can still chose. The others won't mind." Golden boy said, not even looking at Sky. She threw her bag onto the left bed near the window and started unpacking. After she was done she lay on her bed looking out the window. The golden boy was listening to music and had his eyes closed. Sky studied his body. He was quiet tall, maybe 5'11 and very muscular. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.
A.N ~ That was the first chapter of my new story. I hope you liked it. Review! xKim
