Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire
The Sky
While many other forms of life exist above with the clouds, one entity stands out. The creature is one cloaked in mystery and legend. No one is quite sure what the beast looks like. Except for those few rumors that have developed and taken form over the years. The beast's emerald scales are beautiful to behold. It's also that that the sunlight gleams off of them.
The creature's draconian eyes are sharp and attentive. They view the world from above, keeping a watchful eye over its inhabitants. Although, the creature's critical eye mainly focus on two other powers. The primordial forces that hold dominion over the stalwart solidarity of the land and the unparalleled beauty of the ocean.
The Land
Several multitudes of living creatures walk, run, and battle across the land. The primal force that controls the ground is told to be one of the world's most ancient beings. It is also said that it rests within the excruciating heat of a volcano. In fact, it makes its comfortable stay within the boiling magma. Instead of searing its flesh, the magma comforts the creature.
Its ruby scales glint brightly from the low glow of the flames. Its eyes remain alert as it regards the walls of its home. Quietly contemplating, it thinks of its natural rival. That which lurks deep within the wave. As the creature controls the lands and forms it using intense heat to dry up the water, the beast living in the sea opposes that by increasing the area of its home beneath the waters.
The Ocean
Within the sapphire waters spread across the world lie incredible creatures of unmatched majesty. They weave through the water in a variety of ways. Flawlessly, effortlessly, gracefully and with absolute elegance. They also travel about with haste and force as they blast through the blue unbidden.
A myth makes its stay there, being ever-vigilant in its beautiful home. Just as the creature of land increases its home, the beast of the ocean uses torrential rainfall to grow the size of its domain.
Their Rivalry
It is said that once every few years, the two primordial forces would rage a tumultuous battle. This conflict would inevitably be a stalemate. The two forces would engage each other in a furious display of raging earth and turbulent waters. Blistering heatwaves and drenching downpours would radiate off the two of them. The land and ocean would vie for dominance as they collided against each other.
The heatwaves and the downpours that switch between each other intermittently threaten to destroy the world. Rumors also say that to hasten their war against each other, one must disturb an orb of red and one of blue. It is unavoidable that their conflict will ravage the world. There is one thing that can soothe the strife in their hearts though.
The Mediator
While their neverending battle ensues, the emerald creature unleashes a loud cry from its perch atop a pillar that stretches into the sky. The creature soon flies through the air until it arrives at the epicenter of their fighting. Its presence calms and intimidates them as they return to their respective homes. The creatures of ruby, sapphire, and emerald live in this constant cycle of fighting. The three of them wouldn't imagine it any other way though.
Author's Notes: Hello there! So, I was struck with inspiration to write in celebration for the debut of the aforementioned games at the top of this page. Been waiting a while in order to update this. Anyway, here it is!
