Jocks, Nerds, and Romance

AU High school is pretty rough. Especially for the nerds. Cadence is a high school nerd who has a crush on the high school football captain, Shining Armor. What happens when these two meet? How will the social levels change?

Chapter 1

"Cadence!" Cadence snapped out of her daydream. "What were you dreaming about this time?" Her friend Twilight Sparkle teased. Cadence blushed.

"Ah...Um..." She stammered. "Twilight! Stop embarrassing the poor girl!" They turned around to see Rarity and Spike coming over to their lunch table. "What! But it's fun!" Twilight whined.

"Twilight's right! It is pretty fun!" Rainbow Dash snickered while giving her a noogie. "Agh! Dash! What the hell?" Rarity stood up and unhooked her hand from Spike's. "Aw babe!" Rarity bent down and kissed his forehead. Then she walked over to Twilight and fixed her hair.

"There! All better! Well, better than before..." Cadence opened her mouth... *BRING!* Lunch, was over. They all said their goodbyes and separated to their classes. As Cadence rushed to her class, someone bumped into her. Well, this was her lucky day. She just ran into the school's football captain. Shining Armor.
