Determination

She did not exactly know plan for these feelings to emerge. Liking someone…"loving" someone…it was all so…new to her. Before this, Tenten has never really felt this way for anyone.
Unlike Ino and Sakura who were supposedly deeply in love with Sasuke Uchiha, Tenten thought they actually loved each other but kept her belief to herself she had fallen for a girl. She wasn't really sure of her orientation but she did know that she had fallen for the girl who was heiress to the Hyuuga family- Hinata Hyuuga.
Recalling back her memories, Tenten remembered that from all the contestants from the Chuunin exam, Hinata's fight against Neji was the one that truly stood out from the rest. Those eyes burning with determination and brimming with hidden strength was hidden away from such an introverted exterior. Although she unfortunately lost, Tenten was deeply moved by Hinata, eventually falling for her.
Days afterward, she found herself completely dumbfounded on what occurred between her and the one she secretly loved. Tenten had decided to visit Hinata in the hospital who had almost fully recovered from her last fight. She blurted out those three words that she had longed to say for such a long time; she didn't actually think Hinata would be conscious to hear them. Before they knew it they both shared a kiss that was short, yet sweet. Neither of them thought such feelings for the other would be reciprocated, but indeed they were.
Ah, but I don't think that they would be complaining anytime soon…
