A/N: A drabble inspired by a scene in the Sherlock short-story 'The Man with the Twisted Lip.' Hope you like it :)

A Study In Furniture
He could feel her eyes on him as he moved about the room, watching him intently as he started to re-arranged the furniture.
He threw a wink in her direction, making her giggle, as he started to move the couch into position.
Her giggles intensified as he pushed the armchair she was sitting on further into the room, she looked up at him with shining eyes and he grinned at her, tapping her affectionately on the end of her nose.
She continued to watch him intently as he resumed moving things around the room, pausing every so often to take in the new configuration.
She followed him as he left the room to get some more supplies, before returning to her position in the armchair. She hugged her knees to her chest as she watched him, smiling in anticipation.
She bit her lip as she watched him step back to regard his creation, he narrowed his eyes critically before moving to adjust something.
This time when he left the room she stayed where she was, admiring his handiwork. She grinned as he returned, carrying a book and a torch.
Just over an hour later, Molly returned to the flat and stopped short at the sight in the living room.
The sound of six-year Hamish letting out a whoop as he ducked inside broke her from her thoughts and she peeped inside.
She grinned at the sight of Sherlock negotiating the seating arrangements to accommodate both of their children and his own lanky frame inside the enclosed space.
Little Poppaea ('Poppy') Holmes caught sight of her mother first and her face split into a huge grin, "Mummy, Daddy makes the best cubbies!"
...
A/N: 'Poppaea' (Pop-a-ya) is an Ancient Roman name and, I don't know why, but I just thought it would be a good name for their kid. I'm sure you all know where 'Hamish' came from ;)
