I used to be a star
I used to rule the skies
I did a hideous crime
They sentenced me to leave that
Beautiful place
I fell down to a far away land
A land I had only seen from above
Now I am here on a decolate island
To pay the price
My stupidity I have regreted a thousand times
Some times late at night
When the sky is clear
I look up at the stars
My friends, they are all there
I know them all by name
How I envy them their freedom
To soar the eternal skies
Oh how I wish I was there
But I am doomed to be here until
The end of days
The fault is my own
There is no one else to blame
Alas, I have found my heart humbled
I have found that I have learned to love
I have learned patience and kindness
And even though I'm longing to be
In the ever blue land of heaven
I am some what content
To rule over the people
Of my island
