I can't remember how we met,

But I feel like it was special.

I can't seem to remember you,

But I feel like we were close.

I can't remember who you are,

Though your eyes are so familiar.

I'm trying to recall a name

That my mind will not disclose.

...

I feel like I've betrayed your trust,

Though I swear I've never met you.

I feel like I've done something wrong,

But I can't remember now.

I feel I should apologize,

But the words seem strange and different.

I feel that I have hurt you,

But I don't remember how.

...

Please take my hand and grip it tight

And help me to remember.

Please look me in the eye and show me

Who I used to be.

I need to know, I need to find

A way out of this darkness.

I don't remember you,

But I think you remember me.
