Hiya! Happy Valentines Day! To celebrate, I made this cute little oneshot, there's not really much else to say... enjoy!!:)

Will You Be My Valentine?

It was a beautiful valentines day at Mushroom High School. Our lovely Princess Daisy was on her way to her locker, as the lunch bell had just rang. Suddenly,

BOOF!

Ow... She had crashed into her friend Luigi, and their textbooks and random notes had been scattered all over the floor. Amongst the mix, a red, heart-shaped paper stood out.

"Hey, what's this?" Daisy asked, reaching to pick up the note, before Luigi quickly snatched it and hid it behind his back.

"U-Um... Nothing... It's...for a project?" He began to blush uncontrollably.

Daisy began picking up her stuff. "You have to pass in a Valentines Day card for a project..." Luigi just nodded, getting noticeably more and more nervous. "Come on weeg! You don't have to lie! Who's it for?" She asked, a small part of her died as she began to think of all of the people it could be addressed to.

"Um..." He sighed. "w-why don't you find out for yourself?" He passed her the card. It read:

Daisy,

Roses are red,

violets are blue,

but my favourite flower,

is undoubtedly you.

You're the prettiest girl I ever did see

with an amazing spirit; wild and free.

So will you make my wish come true,

and let me be with you?

"So, uh, w-what did you think?"

Daisy dropped all of her books out of shock. She could not believe what was happening. Luigi wanted to be her valentine? No! She had to be dreaming! It feels like she had liked him for the longest time, and now, all she could do was re-read the poem in disbelief.

"Um, Daze?" He waved his hand in front of her face.

"Eh?" Surprised, her eyes darted up from the paper and onto Luigi. She smiled, her face was lit up with complete and utter joy. She gave Luigi a big hug.

Luigi breathed a sigh of relief, he felt his face heat up as he hugged her back. "I'm glad you liked it, I was worried it was too dorky..."

Daisy giggled as she freed herself from Luigi's embrace. "I think it's just the right amount of dorky." She grinned at Luigi. "...like you." She tapped his nose.

They spent the rest of their lunch hour together, talking and flirting as they sat at a picnic table. Luigi was sure that he was still blushing and smiling like an idiot, but none of that mattered, as he was with Daisy now. Little did he know, this moment would be life-changing for the both of them.

~8 years later~

Luigi stood up on the altar, watching in awe as his bride-to-be made her way up to him, looking beautiful as ever in her bridal gown, her beautiful auburn hair perfectly held in place with a gold tiara. All eyes were on her as she approached Luigi.

"Luigi, do you take Princess Daisy to be your wife? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish and protect her, forsaking all others and holding only unto her?

Luigi smiled and looked at Daisy, not a shred of doubt in his mind at that moment. "I do."

"Princess Daisy, do you take Luigi to be your husband? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish and protect him forsaking all others and holding only unto him?"

"I do."

"By the power vested in me, I hearby pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

As the happy couple locked lips, they thought back to that time in 10th grade, and every moment after that leading up to today. They had made so many amazing memories together. They had helped eachother though difficult times, learned life lessons together, in turn becoming better people, because of eachother.

The bride and groom continued to kiss passionately, all of the bridesmaids were in tears, the maid of honour, Peach, crying many tears of joy. Even Mario, although trying to hide it, shead a tear or two for the beautiful newly wed couple.

As their lips parted, they gazed into eachothers' eyes, both of them were happier than words could ever describe.

Because at this moment.

everything was perfect.

Wow, what a nice story. I hope you all loved reading this short but sweet story as much as I LOVED writing it! I've never written about a wedding before, so I hope I did okay. Also, I tried to make this fast paced, and I hope I didn't overdo it.
