Hey

Hey! This is my second fan fic, and it's just a short oneshot about Bella, Edward, and Alice's trip to the pumpkin patch. Enjoy!

BPOV

"Alice!" I whined. It was only October, but it was freezing, and Alice was insisting that we pick out pumpkins at 8:00 on Saturday morning.

"Bella, stop whining, it will be fun!" she trilled in her soprano voice while Edward chuckled.

"You aren't helping my cause, Edward," I huffed.

Edward turned his head toward me and away from the road zooming under us.

"It will be alright, Bella. Let Alice have her fun. Besides, we're already here" he answered, pointing out the windshield to the looming pumpkin patch in front of us.

"Humph."

Edward pulled the Volvo into an open space and got out to open my door. We walked into the patch and I looked around.

Pretty good pickings this year. I thought to myself.

Alice gave an excited squeal and skipped down a row of pumpkins.

"Well come on, let's get this over with," I groaned. Edward laughed and grabbed my hand.

We walked down a few rows, glancing around at the pumpkins. Suddenly I saw it—sitting at the end of the row—it was the most fabulous pumpkin I have ever seen. It was beautiful, the surface was lumpy, yet smooth enough to carve. And the shape was almost completely round, except for a slight lopsidedness on the lower left curve.

I had to have it. I released Edward's hand to go retrieve it, and walked swiftly to the end of the row. I squatted to life the orange almost-sphere; carefully using my legs instead of my back.

I turned around to find Edward standing behind me, a perfectly spherical and smooth pumpkin casually cradled under one arm. I laughed and shook my head.

"Nice pumpkin," I said.

"Is there something wrong with it?" he asked, seeing my reaction. He looked sincerely concerned.

"No, that's the point, it's perfect," I laughed again. "Leave it to you to find the most perfect pumpkin here." The concern was replaced with humor as he laughed with me.

"Ready to go?" Alice asked, materializing next to me. I jumped.

"Jeez Alice, don't do that!" I playfully scolded her for scaring me.

We loaded our pumpkins into the wagon she had brought and took them to the counter to pay. Afterwards we loaded them into the trunk of the Volvo, and Edward opened my door for me.

"Thanks."

"My pleasure," he smiled an adorably crooked smile. My breath hitched in my throat.

"Well that was fun!" Alice chimed as we pulled out of the lot.

"Yeah, it was," I agreed, looking out the window at the trees flashing past at 100mph.

"Ha! I told you so!" I smiled wryly at her comment.

Awwwww. Now wasn't that cute? Haha jk, I wrote this last night around midnight and I was extremely tired, so it may have some errors. Don't forget to R&R!
