What's up, everybody? This is 23StellaOrgana. I saw Inside Out and it was AMAZING! Guess what? Today's my birthday! OMG! I'm officially 15 years old! I'll be going to Adventure Island today to meet up with my friend Danica, so I decided to post this today! Anyway, I think Joy and Anger belong together. It took me a while to come up with an idea for this. In this story, Joy is slightly shorter, about Disgust's height.
It had been a long day for Riley and her Emotions. It had been a month since Riley turned 12. Riley had won another hockey game.
"Ok, Disgust, you're on Dream Duty!" Joy said after Riley went to sleep.
"Why me? Can it be you?" Disgust asked.
"I did it last night, silly!" Joy said, giving Disgust a playful slap on the back.
"All right." Disgust gave in.
Fear, Anger, Joy and Sadness went to bed, and Disgust put on a dream about Rainbow Unicorn.
Disgust pretended to ballet dance with Rainbow Unicorn.
"Yeah," Disgust whispered. "Rainbow Unicorn sure is cute."
Two hours later, an ear splitting scream rang through Headquarters. Disgust was so mesmerized in her imagination that she didn't hear it. Anger was the only one who heard it.
He went into Sadness's room, only to find her asleep. It was then that Anger realized who screamed.
"Joy…" He whispered in shock and concern. Anger proceeded down the hall to Joy's room, but stopped for a little bit when he saw Disgust pretending to dance with Rainbow Unicorn.
"Clever imagination, Disgust…" He muttered before continuing to Joy's room.
He found her crying on the floor, looking out the window. "S-Sadness…" She whispered.
As Anger looked at Joy, something inside him snapped. He had slowly developed feelings for her, and he did not like seeing her cry.
He sat down next to her and put his arm around her. "Joy, what's wrong?"
"Oh, Anger…" Joy sobbed. "It was Sadness. She fell into the Memory Dump and was lost forever!"
"There, there, Joy…" Anger said, pulling Joy close to him. "It was only a nightmare."
Joy couldn't take it anymore. The moment Anger looked into her eyes, she kissed him.
He was surprised at first, then he returned Joy's kiss. Joy and Anger wrapped their arms around each other and their kiss became more passionate.
When they pulled away, they both smiled. "I love you, Joy." Anger finally said.
"You too, Anger." Joy whispered.
Anger got up and prepared to leave, but Joy grabbed his arm. "Please… don't leave me. I need you. Stay with me tonight."
Anger brought his lips back to Joy's, this time with more energy. When they pulled away, Anger replied, "Of course I'll stay with you."
They climbed into Joy's bed together. "I need you to hold me." Joy whispered. "I'm sure that will keep the nightmares away."
Anger's arms were soon around Joy's tiny waist. He kissed her head. "Do you think we belong together, Joy?"
Joy smiled. "Yeah, we do. I was wondering if… tomorrow night… we could… um, take this further?"
Anger was surprised. He knew what Joy meant. "Yeah, I'd like that very much."
"Thanks, Anger." Joy whispered, passing out in his arms.
