She awoke from her deep slumber instantly as the sweet aroma of her favourite delicacy filled the air around her. Ruby bounced off her bed, slammed the door open and was met with the source of the wonderful smell. Standing there on the other side of the door was a rather nervous looking Weiss with a large plate of freshly baked cookies in her hands. The look of glee on Ruby's face made the heiress turn a shade of crimson red. She looked down in embarrassment and kept her focus on the ground.
"R-ruby, I baked you some cookies to.. to show how much I appreciate you're leadership, your friendship and... and..." Weiss glanced up for a moment and caught a glimpse of Ruby's face. She still had an extremely wide smile on her face and was awaiting the rest of the explanation.
"Um... and well... Ruby, can I ask you s-something?"
"Sure!"
"Ruby, what do you think of... of us?"
Now it was the other girls turn to blush. Both girls stood in the doorway of the dorm, not saying anything, just standing there in complete silence but one thing was for sure. They were both thinking the same thing. "Oh god, I'm so gay for her!"
"Oh! Um... Weiss... I-"
"Ruby, I got you these cookies please enjoy them. I'll see you later, I'm sorry for making things awkward, Bye!" Shouted Weiss, rushing her words out before clumsily handing Ruby the plate of cookies and rushing off down the hallway.
"Weiss! Wait- woah!"
The plate of cookies fell out of Ruby's hands and dropped to the ground. Thankfully, the plate stayed in one piece but unfortunately all of Weiss' hard work had gone down the drain as the cookies were scattered all over the floor. One thing that caught her eye though was a note upon the scattered cookies. She picked it up and read the neatly written note.
Dear Ruby,
You're reading this note which means you've already eaten all the cookies and I've already hurried away. Ruby, I know we got off to a terrible start but since then, we've only gotten closer. I don't know if you feel the same but Ruby Rose... Will you take these delicious cookies and be mine?
All across beacon, a high pitched squeal and excited "Yes!" could be heard by all. Especially a certain heiress who couldn't help but jump around a little before she ran straight back to the dorm in excitement.
