Tobi sat in the hard chair at the Foster Care center, twidling his thumbs. He had been here before, and he probably would be here again, but he would just keep being happy and excited. After all, weren't all six year olds used to being in this place? He had never seen any others here, but he was sure that they came here all the time. He looked through the little window ontop of the door to the coordinator's office, peering inside. He saw the coordinator talking to some woman with blue hair and a man with orange har and a lot of piercings. He gulped and sat back down, playing with the handel to his suitcase.

Suddenly, a strange woman came up to him. She had short, brown hair and wore a tight, buisiness-like coat with a creepy smile. "Hello Tobi, I'm Shizune, the secretary. Tell me something." She sat down next to him. "How do you like your new place?"

Tobi looked up at her with a smile on his face and simply said, "This is my temporary home. It's not where I belong. Windows and room, that I'm passing through. This is just a stop, on the way to where I'm going. I'm not afraid because I know this is my temporary home." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Itachi wandered the streets, clutching Sasuke's hand tightly so not to lose him int he crowds. He had been looking for a job for a while now and he refused to live in a half-way house. He tighted the scarf around his neck and brought his little brother closer to him, trying to get into the shop across the street. They walked in and Itachi went up to the front counter, "Excuse me, can I apply for your new position?" he asked the manager.

The man shook his head, "Sorry, we don't accept teenage workers, adults only for this business." Itachi looked depressed and mumbled a low 'Thank you anyways' before leaving the shop with Sasuke in tow. That night, Itachi curled up into the cardboard box that had been dumped in the alleyway, Sasuke snuggling into his jacket. He petted his younger brother's hair and kissed the top of his head, saying "Someday we'll find a place here in this world." Sasuke snuggled into the warmth more and fell asleep, making Itachi sigh in content.

The next day, Itachi and Sasuke were still sleeping in the box when a woman walked up to them and offered to help them. Itachi shook his head and woke Sasuke up so they could get ready to go. The woman asked Itachi why him and his little brother were sleeping in the box. Itachi replied, "This is our temporary home. It's not where we belong. Windows and rooms, that we're passing through. This is just a stop, on the way to where we're going. We're not afraid because we know this is our temporary home."

Kakuzu was lying on the hospital bed, staring at the ceiling. Everyone that he loved was int he room, his mother, his littler brother and his friends were there, hoping to see him recover. He whispered to them, "Don't cry for me, I'll see you all one day........" Which in turn only made them all cry more. He sighed and stared at the ceiling, mumbling, " I can see God's face......" The burning light shining down through the roof, showing him the path to heaven. He started talking, passing on words on wisdom to those who would listen, "This is my temporary home, it's not where I belong. Windows and rooms, that I'm passin' through. This was just a stop, on the way to where I'm going. I'm not afraid because I know, this was my temporary home......." And Kakuzu's last breath passed through his lips, heaven's light cradling him.
