We helped them, we were on their side, yet they forgot about us after our part was over. Don't put too much trust in anybody; sometimes it turns out that they only chose to befriend you because you had what they need , what they can' t live without, in this case light. Sometimes, mutual need is all that binds you to something Although it is a very strong bond, in the end it is the most easily severed, unlike love. After that need runs out, you are easily disposable, just like everybody else. We where used bu the humans, like everyone else.

A/N: I got the idea for this when I saw a fifth grader reading Code of the Claw and I was thinking about who was the firefly representative they selected, and then I remembered that there wasn't one. I decided that I was going to write a series of drabbles about all the animals that the author somehow neglected to choose a delegate for. Please review, even if you think it sucks and that I should delete it.
