if there was anything the pink powerpuff could do, ANYTHING at all, she would have already made a mad dash away from the day job she had applied in a few weeks ago, fly across the city skyline, whilst her hair flowed in the wind. She would have been unstoppable and rooted on by the citizens once again for a job well done on saving the city, standing alongside with her two allies, Bubbles and Buttercup, as they get featured on the 6 o'clock news when they all got home, back once again in their normal lives.
it's been a solid 5 minutes of her sitting behind the cashier counter in a bakery she'd applied part-time a few weeks ago. No customers, no boss, she was technically free at the moment.
she should have been used to this already, right? she'd dealt with the worst monsters and bad guys, but no, she decided to get another job apart from saving New Townsville and (probably) the whole world. The dorm she currently lived in practically milked all of her allowance, and her parents have only so much to give after paying her college tuition over time and time again. More or less, she was equally doomed to not have this job, in comparison to everyone finding out she was Blossom.
she sighed, 'maybe I could go out?' she thought, but then, she looked up and saw the blasted security cameras looming over her head, she can't eat any of the sweets and pastries, since, she got an earful from her boss after reviewing the same security camera's footage, plus, she got a pay deduction, all on the fifth day of her job.
Momoko's eyes followed the people outside the store, looking glum and bored, 'it was a sunny day too' she said to herself, as she watched the bystanders pass her behind the glass windows. Kids ran by; that weird, old cat lady passed by; a black cat seemed to taunt her from across the street; the Rowdyruff boys ran off- wait what?
she got up and ran to the door, opening it, expectedly enough, her two best friends, Miyako and Kaoru were on the chase for them, hot on their trail. once they saw Momoko, they sent puzzling looks at her 'Blossom?! how are you not transformed yet?' Miyako asked, her bubble wand already in her hand, she looked ready to beat anyone up 'huh? what do you mean? my belt didn't-' she put her hand on her hip and looked down at her skirt, and sure enough, her white belt that carried her compact wasn't there. she just had to change out to her uniform didn't she?! she looked embarrassed 'oh my god, I am so sorry I-!' 'We can see that, come on, we have three robbers to catch!' Kaoru cut her off, being rushed as an explosion broke out in the distance 'I'll catch up with you guys, hurry!' Momoko said, as the two heroes nodded at her then flew off.
she sprinted through the shop, towards the locker room, where her white belt hung on one of the the clothing hooks. putting it on, there was no more time to be waste, she transformed.
'HYPER BLOSSOM!'
