" On other news,an earthquake is thought to occar here in Genovia around 10:00 today. So please take notice." Mia surfed the channels. and they all said the same thing. That an earthquake was going to happen soon in Genovia that day. Earthquakes were not a very common thing here. The last one happened around 15 years ago. None the less, mia was scared. She glanced over to the clock.
" 9:50." she said to herself.
"Grandma! grandma!" she screamed. Clarisse, Joe, and Charolett came running.
" Mia my dear! Whats wrong?" she asked as she rested her hand on her grandaughters shoulder.
" Grandma, i heard that there is going to be an earhtquake today."she said

" Haha, my dear, I can assure you, if ther is to be an earthquake, we are well prepared."
" I hope so, im not so good in disaterous situations!" she addmitted to her grandmother. The queen let a sigh of relife since her Mia wasnot harmed.
" Neither am I dear, in fact, i cry."
"Same her I..." Mia did not get to finish her sentence because the ground began to tremble beneth their feet.
" Oh no your majesty!" cried Charolett. " What do we do?"
" Stay calm, don't panick. We just..." the walls began to shake wiht such a force that the pictures on the walls fell off, and flew across the room.
" Oh My! Joseph!"
" It's alright my dear. Just grab onto something, and dont let go!" he cried.
So she did. Clarisse flung herself at Joseph, and held on as tight as she posibly could. She wrapped her arms around his waist, and laid her neck on his chest. Scared to death! Joseph, not so sure how to react, did what he though was best. he held her. he held her, and even though they were in danger, he couldnt help but to love this.
"Joseph,please! Please, dont let ne go please!"
" It's alright my dear. I wont let you go! Ill never let you go"
Mia and charolett clung to the closest thing in sight and held on tight. After about five minutes of this action, the earthquake stopped. Clarisse, just as she said, began to cry. She loosened her grip on Joseph,but still did not let go. Joseph directed her to the couch, and sat down with her holding on tight. her tried to let go, only for a second so he could get her a tissue. But Clarisse would not allow it.
" Joseph no! Dont let me go! You Promised!"
" Of course. Im sorry." he said returning his arms to her waist.
"No, im sorry I know its silly of me to cry, but I...I..."
" I completley understand"
" Excuse me?" Charolett cut in," Mia and I will leave you two alone"
" Joseph, thank you. Thank you for being here. I dont no where I would be if I didnt have you by my side"
" No thank you. Thank you for making my life worth living. just getting to be wiht you everyday, it's fullfilling. I only wish I could... Oh never mind"
" No please.." she said taking his hand. " Please tell me what?
" I only wish I could kiss you the way I have wanted to for the past 35 years." he said looking down.
" Then why dont you?" she asked taking his hand in hers again.
" because you are the queen."
" No! Im YOUR queen. PLease Joseph, PLease kiss me." and befor they could say another word. he did, he kissed his queen for the first time in 35 years. Sharing their first kiss.
