Author's note: Okay, so here's a revised version of the Doctor Who/Stargate crossover series I originally tried to do a few years back. For now, at least, I'm not touching the Stargate SG-1 pilot (i.e. when the Doctor meets everyone), but I'll eventually get to it. Also, for reference, this is a complete reboot of the Doctor Who series as well as a modernization (relatively) of Stargate SG-1, so most of the SG-1 characters will appear while only a few names originally from Doctor Who will be seen, with revised personalities, since I've only seen a few episodes of the Classic series. One last thing I'd like to point out; I am an American, so I apologize now for any lack of knowledge on my part of British society and pop culture (most of my knowledge comes from Doctor Who and Sherlock).

Herald of the Daleks – Prologue

It had been a few days since SG-1 first returned from Chulak, and the personnel of Stargate Command barely had time to rest with the barrage of gate activity coming their way. They also didn't have time to send any teams out to investigate other worlds either.

"Unauthorized gate activity," yelled the staff sergeant over the intercom.

"Another one, sir?" O'Neill questioned the bald headed General to his left as he entered the DHD room.

"Yeah," Hammond stated with slight exasperation.

"They don't let up, do they?"

"If things keep going the way they are, we have to…" the general was interrupted by a strange object appearing from out of nowhere in the gate room. It looked to be a trash-can like object with round spheres on its lower half, a plunger for an arm in the middle next to a weapon barrel, and a blue lit eye stock.

"What's that?" the staff sergeant inquired as the object seemed to wake up.

"Seal off the gate room!" Hammond commanded as the object began attacking his men.

The object began yelling a single word, over and over again: "Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!"

Author's Note Part 2: Okay, so that was incredibly short, so you guys can just consider this a short teaser. I'll try and post Chapter 1 of this story on the same day, that is if future me doesn't get bogged down with other business. I hope to get a chapter or so a week in this story, but my mind tends to wander just about everywhere else, so don't quote me on that. So, thanks for reading and stay tuned.
