Hero.
A very short fic about Tsunade and Jiraiya. Written to the song 'Elephant melody' Nicole Kidman and Edwin Mcgregor from Moulin Rouge. One-shot Tsu/Jir. obviously! Enjoy!!
"We should be lovers." He stated again, for the longest time he had been trying to get her to say yes. But lately he was pestering her a lot more.
"Oh don't start that again, We can't do that and you know it." Her blue eyes locked with his dark ones, the grin plainly on his face.
"We should be lovers and you want it." He said again.
Tsunade flicked her blonde tail and frowned at him.
Jiraiya simply smiled at her, he was going to get her this time. He could feel it in his…bones.
Tsunade put her hands on her hips and gave him a look like 'I wonder…'
Suddenly a smile crept up her face,
"…You would be mean and well… I'll drink all the time!"
He smiled so wide and so natural his face lit up.
"No I won't and you do anyways." He was getting to her … finally!
He grabbed her hand and pulled her into him. She shook her head violently, pushing away in the process.
"For the last time Ero-sannin, in your wildest dreams." They both laughed, as his heart grew.
She couldn't take it anymore, this words eating her up. Tsunade cried into her hands, why she asked. There was always that connection between them, the all knowing that not matter how they denied their souls would always be bound. She sobbed into the hard, cold stone that was his. She blamed him, she blamed him for not trying hard enough to woo her. She hated the fact that she never excepted. But they were hero's, hero's never got their ending. One happy day was what she wished for. Her cheek pressed the stone as she remembered how wonderful life was with him in it. Jiraiya knew that that day he had won her fully and truly, he had gotten her. If not the bed, in heart, full to the brim. Her heart now tipped and spun with the lost, splashing its contents through her eyes. She whispered so soft, it was almost not there.
"My Hero."
