Turtles or Bananas
Summary: A very random and fic. Valera asks Horatio what he prefers.
A/N: I was at school when i wrote this, so you might be able to tell how bored i was.
Lab Technician Maxine Valera sat in her lab waiting for the DNA results to print off thinking about random stuff, she heard the sound of footfalls and turned her head to see CSI Lieutenant Horatio Caine walk in "Valera" he said smiling gently at her "hey, results are printing off" she said "Horatio, do prefer Turtles or Bananas?" she asked him, Horatio raised an eyebrow "I know it's random but trust me answer the question" she added "what do you prefer?" he asked her instead of answering "well I like bananas because they're good source of food and healthy for you but then again turtles are cute and green. Problem is, I'm also trying to decide because my favorite colors are green and yellow" Valera replied. Horatio chuckled as the printer began to start up and printing the results "is there any particular reason for the question?" he asked her, Valera smirked "maybe" she replied.
The printer finished and Valera turned back to get the results "not a match to our victim but a match to another" she said swiveling back around on her stool "we have another victim?" he asked taking the results from her "apparently, looks our suspect has also killed someone else named Bonnie Hyde" she replied, Horatio read and re-read the results "interesting, thank you" he said as he began to head out "hey, you didn't answer my question" Valera called out "turtles" he called out over his shoulder.
Valera arrived at Horatio's 51st birthday party in a turtle green sheath dress with matching heels, she spotted Horatio talking to ME Dr. Alexx Woods and walked over to him "hi" she said smiling at Alexx "hey sweetie nice dress" Alexx said. Horatio turned to look at her and was surprised that she was dressed in a turtle green sheath dress and matching heels "I told you there was a reason" Valera said laughing, Horatio just shook his head and pulled her in kissing her.
