Fawn stood before him, all legs and limbs. Her eyes-just like his-were a piercing, angry blue. The news had obviously taken quite a while to sink in. Dead. Her only sister. Deceased. Lifeless. Gone. Her face crumpled quickly, and built itself into a glower just as fast as she uttered seven words that would change him forever. "I hate you, Dad," she sneered his title. Like his being her father was a disgrace. "You're a nightmare."
