Silver strands falling lightly over the pillow.
An arm tucked under the curve of his cheek.
Slow even breaths passing through parted lips.
Shoulders tipped inward, completely relaxed.
Grey light shifting through the curtained window.
Birds casting shadows as they fly by, outside.
Gentle rising and falling of his chest,
Beneath the dark blue blankets.
A slight grimace- A hitch in the breath.
A quiet moan breaking through his throat.
Stillness, without a sound.
A deep breath and all is well, peaceful.
Eyes lightly closed in sleep.
Dark lashes brushing pale cheeks.
A quiet sigh, his hand pulling blankets around closer.
Don't wake just yet.
Let the dawn break over first.
Be content for a few moments more.
The quiet before the storm.
